It’s our experience that when someone hears “The Coating Life”, their thoughts about what we do start going down the path of painting, with either a brush and roller, or sprayer, with various products – and they’d be right! However, The Coating Life has branched out even further, and we’ve gotten our hands on a Graco Sani Sprayer HP 65. Because The Coating Life isn’t just about paint and epoxies that protect surfaces, it’s about helping make life better wherever, and however we can.
This machine is airless and can use disinfectants, sanitizers, as well as deodorizers. It delivers consistent atomization and coverage with its 0.023 tip size and adjustable pressure of 0-1000 psi. Product can be applied as a fine mist or coarse spray, depending on your requirements and with a 1.5 gallon hopper, you shouldn’t have to refill very often. It is even compatible with alcohol-based: ethanol, isopropanol and non-alcohol based: aldehydes, phenols, quaternary ammonium compounds, sodium hypochlorite (bleach), peroxyacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, hypochlorous acid.
Our preferred product is Airx Spray N Go Disinfectant which we get from Flexo in Niagara Falls, ON. It boasts 99.9% effective in 5 seconds, kills microorganisms on soft surfaces, as well as being dye and fragrance free. When we apply the product on items that are often touched by hands, such as door knobs, we’ll wipe off any excess once it has been given 5 minutes to dry, as for other items like chairs and desks for example, we let it air dry.
These benefits make it ideal for using in hospitals and health care facilities, veterinarian offices, gyms and athletic facilities, beauty salons and barber shops, funeral homes, places of worship, schools, and daycares.
Quite frankly, this is a short list of areas the sprayer and products can be useful.
Using Spray N Go, makes things consistent, as well as convenient. There isn’t any mixing of products, which means you don’t end up with diluted product and an ineffective job. Spray N Go is literally that, you pour it into the machine hopper and pull the trigger! It’s so easy, and almost as satisfying as pressure washing.
Of course, no manner of sanitization can beat any virus/illness if people aren’t willing to do their individual part; such as ensuring proper hand washing hygiene – maybe even kick it up a notch or two.
